Preeminent Court settles affirmation question amongst TU and AFU

Chitwan, Jan 30: The Supreme Court has settled the debate between the Tribhuvan University (TU) and the Agriculture and Forestry University (AFU) with respect to understudy affirmations in Hetauda.

The two varsities had been fighting as far back as the foundation of the AFU. Despite the fact that TU quit taking understudy confirmations in the horticulture and veterinary resources at Rampur in Chitwan, both were taking affirmations in ranger service workforce in Hetauda.

A meeting partook by authorities of the two colleges and the Education Ministry and led by then Education Minister Dinanath Sharma a year ago had chosen that TU would not take confirmations in the ranger service workforce in Hetauda from this year.
