Missing man discovered dead following five days

A man, Durga Bahadur Ranabhat of Jhaputar of Bhirkot VDC-1 in Tanahu area, who disappeared for five days, was discovered dead in the juncture of Seti and Madi River in the region.

The body of the 49-year old man, a perpetual inhabitant of Bhirkot VDC-5 in the region, was discovered caught between two shakes in the juncture of the two waterways, as per the District Police Office, Tanahu.

Family sources said that they had been scanning for Ranabhat since he went incommunicado.

The body has been kept at the Damauli Hospital for a posthumous and the examination concerning the episode was in progress, Police Inspector Bijaya Poudel.
