Election Commission (EC) has issued a letter to Renu Dahal, daughter of Puspakamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ daughter as well as U-CPN Maoist’s Candidate from Kathmandu-1 asking clarification for violating election code of conduct.
EC has expressed concern over calendar distributed by Renu Dahal as a part of election campaign as violation of election code of conduct.EC issued the letter seeking answer from Dahal within 3 days after a complaint was filed against her. Spokes Person of EC Bir Bdr Rai has confirmed that Dahal is asked for clarification.
Prachanda, in an about-face, does not insist anymore on the presidency. He wishes, following the true proletarian guide lines, a non-politician. The first interested candidates are lining up. We wouldn’t kick that chick out of bed. Oh, those voluptuous lips.
“The CPN (Maoist) today decided to give up its claim for the post of president, saying that the first president of republican Nepal should be chosen from the civil society.

Talking to reporters after the meeting, Maoist spokesperson Krishna Bahadur Mahara said that the party would strongly press for a civil society candidate for the presidency.”
