Arghakhanchi one report

Blogger | 3:38 AM |
Various political parties have resumed their protest against the constitution amendment bill in Arghakhanchi and Gulmi districts.
In Arghakhanchi, supporters of the Nepali congress, CPN-UML, CPN (Maoist Centre), Rastriya Prajatantra Party and Rastriya Janamorcha staged a protest rally and a mass meeting in Sandikharka.
Local leaders said they were forced to resume demonstration after the government refused to withdraw the constitution amendment bill with the plan to split Province 5.
In Gulmi, a joint struggle committee formed to protest against the constitution amendment proposal organised a one-day banda on Wednesday.
Passengers were left in the lurch because of the banda. Transportation service, business establishments and factories remained shut in the district.
The committee had organised banda for 20 days in Gulmi until December 19 demanding that Province 5 should not be split.
